Sabrina Franco is an associate attorney at Vanderlaan Law Group based in the firm’s Tampa office.  Sabrina’s practice focuses on civil litigation, insurance defense, and complex employment litigation and civil rights related claims. Sabrina counsels her clients on employment related issues, procedures and policies and also plays an active role in the investigation stages of employment related claims both pre and post suit. 

At VLG, Sabrina works with a variety of the firm's clients on unique and complex employment related claims including claim investigation, legal analysis, federal and state agency compliance and all stages of defending litigation claims.  Sabrina also defends the firm's clients in various personal injury related lawsuits arising from auto, premises and construction related injuries.

Prior to VLG, Sabrina’s experience includes representing clients in employment matters in the EEOC, FCHR, state and federal courts. Sabrina also consults and advises business clients on internal policies ensuring compliance with laws and regulations and other business related matters.

Sabrina graduated from Florida International University with a degree in Criminal Justice. She obtained her law degree from Western Michigan University Cooley Law, and she graduated with Cum Laude honors. While in law school, Sabrina received six book awards for highest overall grade in her class. She served on the editorial board of the Cooley Law Review as senior associate editor, she was the vice president for Phi Alpa Delta, Public Relations chair for Sports Entertainment law society, member of Phi Delta Phi honor society and volunteered for the Guardian Ad Litem program and St. Michael’s Legal Center Pro Bono services.

Sabrina is licensed to practice in the state of Florida and is admitted in the Federal Middle District of Florida. Sabrina is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, and Florida State Bar Association.
